Holocaust Victim/Survivor Project
Final Project:
As we have read various Holocaust texts, we have discussed how identity is created or influenced by various life components. You will now have the opportunity to choose a person who experienced the Holocaust and research their life and things that influenced them. While time will be given in class to work on this project, it is expected that you take some time outside of class to do things that will enhance your poster (extra research, pictures, peer/parent editing, symbolic artistic representation, etc).
Remember to include the following in your poster:
You will also create an original artistic work that symbolizes either your person or some aspect of the Holocaust. Then type 1 paragraph explaining the symbolism of your creation. Some ideas include:

- General information about the person (key life events/dates, relationships, life before/during/after the Holocaust, etc.)
- Information on your chosen Holocaust topic
- Paragraph explaining your symbolic representation. Also include the actual artistic artifact if possible.
- Finished professional look (typed, no spelling/grammar errors, neatly spaced/presented, etc.)

- sculpture
- original photography
- original music piece or dance
